When I appealed the Badoo upheld the ban saying I was misrepresenting myself
) badly implemented search engine, too. Even if one makes sure he/she is looking for someone in a specific area (indicating a specific radius from his/her town) Badoo keeps presenting people from afar. It seems like they're avoiding saying 'Look, there's no more people in your area, other than the ones we showed you already.' It leads to awkward conversations and time wasting. Other than that, I've been meeting people from Badoo since 2010.
Overall Opinion: Even though Badoo says they are Trans and gender diverse inclusive and have many selections in the gender that include transwoman, transman, transgender and other identities if a transphobic person reports you because you were assigned male/female at birth and are trans or Enby and identify as something other then your assigned sex/gender as misgendering yourself you will be banned. I have tried 3 times to resign up as I was having a great time with guys that are not transphobes identify as not into men. Until one person reported me after a transphobic exchange and said they would because I was pretending to be a woman. Badoo up held this
Cons: Transphobia runs rampant or you get the opposite of trans chasers who heavily fetishize transwomen especially and who do not see us as a person but as a sexdoll there for their pleasure
Overall Opinion: Badoo feels as much like a social experiment as it does a dating app. As the way we interact on the internet becomes an increasingly more integral aspect of our lives, many users have come to rely on a whole interrelated network of social networking platforms to chronicle their lives and stay in touch with friends, families, and followers.
